Our favorite sewing, quilting notions and other things you might need.
This is my favorite marking tool. Works best on Medium to Dark fabrics. Draw with if like a crayon and it stays in place until you apply heat (iron, hair dryer or dryer). You can sharpen it to a fine point with an art pencil sharpener or sandpaper. I can’t stand to waste even a small amount, so I draw my design and decide to stitch along the middle or one side.
Tired of trying to press a beautiful seam and ending up with the shinnies? The Teflon Ironing Slipper is the solution. Put it over the ironing plate of your iron, fill with water, turn on HIGH and press. I have used the ironing slipper on Silk, Rayon, Organza in addition to Cotton.
If you use Fusible Web you will love the Teflon Ironing Slipper. Fusible web does not stick to it.
